DISCUSSION: "From African Origin to Eternal Destiny"

The work was done spontaneously - and depicts two figures (the one the human african origin figure and the other the human eternal soul) with sacred messages inscribed in their halos, their bodies, the background and the dwelling waters below.

The figures are rising from the waters of origin (life) with a poem affirming blessings into human destiny - calling the fish to rain down - acknowledging that life came from above (the waters that used to hover above the earth) and desiring for the feathers (eternal flight - life) to fuse within as the human origin gently encourages the "Bird of Life" to come into it's hand so that life can energise into the human soul.

The intention of the work is to be a blessing unto the viewer/s - to provoke goodness, good thoughts, good dreams, good intentions...

The work was done over a long period of time and completed during January 2007. It is done in multi-medium format: collage of torn pieces of magazines, thread, netting and acrylic paints. The work is 61cm x 87 cm without the frame. The work is for sale and those interested may contact me via tabloo’s message system.

très belle peinture Nette, beaucoup de sensibilité, une influence dans le style de Chagall, Klee.
Il y a même Léonard Da vinci qui laisse son empreinte avec sa joconde sur la cuisse de ton personnage :)
c'est magnifique Nette :)
