BACKGROUND: "T h e W a r r i o r"

"The Warrior" depicts a giant female figure - who offers a love prayer to God on a "dust to dust" stone.

 The prayer has some parts of it hidden so that the viewer may be encouraged to complete it according to his/her own heart's calling.

 Hidden messages are randomly incorporated into the collage - so that the viewer continously uncovers purposes beyond the unseen, collaborating the image with self... 

The intention of the work is to draw out deep ponderings and good thoughts about life in general

The work is in mixed media collage: papers, thread and acrylics - and was finally completed during January 2007.

The size is 61 cm x 87 cm - without the frame.
