The Graceful Seagulls

The Seagull isn't an exotic or hard to find bird, but one of the most fun and exiting to photograph. They are terrific fliers and the ballet dancers of the bird world.

When they are many, they form patterns that can look like Japanese scripts or calligraphy writing.

You caught them well.... pretty sharp shots too. Hard to get those fast birds without getting a blur unless you have a lot of light and can shoot fast.

I totally agree with you about the Oriental calligraphy, especially Japanese styles. They definitely have a very foggy / airy look to them and you're right... the gulls look like the calligraphy on those foggy /airy nature scenes. Beautiful.

wow..... I couldn't stop looking at those pictures....... I wish I was a bird.......Those pictures 100% cought the free spirits and motion of the birds. Awesome shots!

You sure take excellent pictures. I like how you got the sun reflecting through the birds wings. The overall colors just make it so tranquil along with your other Tabblo's. Looking forward for your next pictures.

How could I have missed such a stunning Tabblo. This is just beautiful. The movement from the flying birds and thw shapes of their silhouettes against the sky is lovely. The mist in the top photos adds a great deal of moodiness to the sots. These are so serene and peaceful, and quiet. Maybe the birds were not quiet, but it seems that way from the pictures. I like the use of speia in some shots. It gives a warmth to the scene. Very niicely done Anders.
