Antigua Mision Salesiana - Rio Grande - Tierra del Fuego

Imagenes de la Mision Salesiana construida  en el siglo XIX en cercanias de la ciudad de Rio Grande en Tierra del Fuego.

Los religiosos enseñaban a los indigenas de la zona (Onas) distintos oficios y los catequizaban en el Cristianismo.

CAMPO SANTO

Al morir, los Onas, actualmente extinguidos, eran enterrados en cementerios creados cerca de las misiones o grupos poblados, construidos a la vera del mar. Aqui algunos ejemplos de estos "Campos Santos".
