On 25th of February, in Bucharest, Edvin Marton and Evgheny Plushenko met to perform live in a show that will definitely stay in our hearts for many years to come. The best violin player in the world and the Olympic Gold Medalist in Figure skating, Plushenko were the premises of a perfect event. Add the angelic sounds of a unique Stradivarius violin and now you have the performance of a lifetime. It could only spell dream for a fan of classical music and skating. But it happened. Right there, in Bucharest.
Once in a lifetime… |

Some of Plushenko's world known programmes accompanied by the divine music of his very good friend, Edvin Marton. Once again, Plushenko proved to be far to quick during his well known rotations for my camera and lenses to take the chance of catching a clear shot... |

Many times both of them were toghether on ice |

Edvin Marton, a true artist all the way... |

The Monte Carlo Orchestra performing live. |

What an explosive combination : classical music, a perfect violin and laser beams... |

|
Many other former Ice Skating Champions also performed during the show, being accompanied by Edvin Marton's own musical creations. |

The speed and agility of the performers was simply incredible. My camera could bearly keep up. The show also had several acrobatic numbers perform by the former World Champion |

|
One last solo, this time a premiere : performing for the first time in a public show, Paganini 5. Later, Plushenko reentered on the ice and performed his winning programme from Torino, which brought him Olympic Champion title in 2006, the famous Godfather theme, written and performed by Edvin Marton. |

The two artists waving for good-bye and putting an end to a wonderful and trully magnificent night, leaving us dreaming for a long time to come.
