Storm Aftermath

Vancouver's famous Stanley Park has lost more than 1,000 trees, after a series of storms battered the West Coast with near-hurricane force winds in late December 2007/ early January 2007.

 

Today is my first time visiting Stanley Park after all the destruction by Mother Nature. The scene is heart breaking.

oh so sad. Your Tabblo is beautiful, but it hurts to see the freshly broken trees. I hope there is new growth coming to replace these beauties.

I don't know how I missed your tabblos up until now but I have added you to my circle so hopefully I will be notified when you post a new tabblo. Anyway, I LOVE the way you have mastered the layout system - most effective with the colours you have chosen and the overlapping. As you can see I live on Vancouver Island so I share with you the sadness of the horrifying destruction everywhere on the west coast following the winter storms. GREAT photography!
