Thanks, SHIRL, SIMON, CAITLIN, ANTONIO, NIMESHPATEL! Wish I could have added all the women who post on tabblo, but it would have become an insane project.
Artingrid said at 6:10 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:

Eduardo, this is the nicest compliment I can imagine. I feel proud to be among all these fine, artistic, soft spoken, outspoken, funny, serious, creative, beautiful women and so flattered by your thoughts and act of generosity to make this lovely Tabblo.
Eduardo.affonso said at 7:43 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:
EMA, INGRID, RETA, PAM & TAMMY: It is my honor to have you all in my circle. Thanks for sharing your talent!
Eduardo.affonso said at 7:47 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:
WALLY: It was hard to choose the pics for this tabblo, to pick only one from the so many wonderful photos. So I don't consider it a "personal selection" but merely a sample of the great work these photographers have been doing. Sorry I couldn't understand what you meant by "the young ones"...
Leftofcenter said at 8:23 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:
OMG Eduardo this is so thoughtful and sweet of you and tks for including me, the newbie, wow some great tabblo dudettes up there, Pam just forwarded me your TABBLO ADDICT tabblo, i'm afraid I scored very high................. Annelies (PS whos Nysa? she's beautiful!)

Eduardo.affonso said at 8:34 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:
ANNELIES: Don't worry if you're really addicted - you are in the company of lots of wonderful people! Neysa is a great & old friend of mine (we studied together at University) so we've been friends for almost 30 years now. The girl on the photo is her older daughter, Kimie, a gorgeous girl indeed (well, beauty and inteligence are hereditary, aren't they?)
Jigs said at 8:46 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:
Thank you for including me in this beautiful tribute! The world needs more men like you :-)
Hm, girls, what say we celebrate an International Eduardo Day? Starting on April 22, 2007?
Pkeener said at 9:07 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:
YES JIGS!!!! I happen to know that April 22 is 1) EARTH DAY 2) BRAZILS"S Birthday and 3) the Birthday of a very talented, sensitive, witty, intelligent, compassionate, honest, artistic, sweet and not to mention very thoughtful Tabbloer.
Jillcdunn said at 9:13 p.m. on Mar 7, 2007:
Thank you so much Eduardo! I actually got a little teary-eyed that you would do something so kind. There are so many talented people here at tabblo (women and men alike) but it is nice to be appreciated in such a beautiful way. I'm with JIGS, the world does need more men like you!! You are great!

Anyway... where's my credit?
Leftofcenter said at 8:52 a.m. on Mar 8, 2007:
RETA is in Canada, that counts for north north America, she has a tabblo for the tabblo yayas. As for the men, well the day is young.... (btw your daughter is beautiful)

Liliana said at 6:17 p.m. on Mar 8, 2007:
Whya said at 7:05 p.m. on Mar 8, 2007:

Thank you so much, Eduardo. It is really an honor to be included. You have touched many hearts with this tabblo.
Jigs said at 9:41 p.m. on Mar 8, 2007:

Sheila said at 1:07 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:

DEE-Trow said at 10:58 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Eduardo, this is so sweet of you. I know this took a lot of time but I'm sure you knew while you were doing it that it would mean so much to all of us "very talented" women. I didn't even know there was an International Women's Day. Thank you for making this a special day for us! I'm so glad you are such a great friend to so many of us.
Eduardo.affonso said at 11:16 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
MY DEAR DEE, SHEILA, JIGS, LILIANA, LAURA, WHYA, NINA, ANNELIES, HETTY, HILAH, KATE, SHEILA 2, MONICA, PAULA, JILL & PAM: EVERYDAY SHOULD BE CELEBRATED AS "WOMEN'S DAY" (WHY ONLY THE DAYS? WHY NOT NIGHTS, TOO??), SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO THANK ME FOR THIS LITTLE TRIBUTE. IT'S MY PLEASURE TO HAVE YOU IN MY CIRCLE OF VIRTUAL FRIENDS, IT'S A GIFT TO SEE THE WORLD THROUGH YOUR LENSES.

NOE, ANDERS & BOB: HOPE YOU'LL REMEMBER THIS DATE NEXT YEAR!
Eduardo.affonso said at 11:18 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
JIGS: "LUSOPARLANTE" MEANS "PORTUGUESE SPEAKER" ("Lusitano" is another word for "Portuguese"; something related to Brazil and Portugal is called "Luso-Brasileiro" (Luso-Brazilian). "Lusitânia" is another name for Portugal.
Eduardo.affonso said at 11:20 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
NEYSA & LILIANA: Vocês não receberam crédito porque as suas fotos não foram baixadas diretamente do Tabblo (que, automaticamente, cria o "crédito"). Eu as tirei de outras fontes, e, portanto, foram baixadas como minhas. Estou imaginando uma maneira de induzir o crédito - só para que vocês duas não fiquem totalmente desacreditadas...
Setu said at 11:22 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Eduardo ! Hats off to you, this is excellent in concept and presentation !
Hyhoa said at 11:24 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Un grand merci Eduardo pour ce magnifique et original Tabblo dédié aux femmes et spécialement à celles du petit cercle des Tabblos ! Si le monde pouvait compter des hommes comme toi , il y aura certainement moins de guerre et de concurrence acharnée et plus de generosite et de tendresse n' est ce pas ? Cela m' a permis aussi de faire connaissance avec d' autres femmes du groupe des Tabblos .Yes a special Eduardo Day is a good idea ! Thanks a lot for your kindness Edu
Eduardo.affonso said at 11:57 a.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
JIGS: I will gladly accept the creation of the "International Eduardo Day" as soon as we create the "International Bright-Talented-Witty-Lovely-Sweet-Women Day", to be celebrated on your birthday (what a shame, I have to check the date on Phlog!).
Love2laugh said at 4:09 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
You know Eduardo ... I don't think any one here in the USA talks of this day. I have to say it took a romantic man like you, to make me realize this day exists. hahahaha... I think that the men should have one too... but I'll have to say ... I'm glad there is one dedicated to women. After this tribute ... maybe we should have an "Eduardo Day"... *wink* I am sure plenty of women would enjoy celebrating that.
Liliana said at 4:24 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
¡¡¡¡Ja,ja!!!! Lo que pasa es que no sé decir lusoparlante ni hispanoparlante en inglés... De ahí las bienaventuradas comilllas. :)
Liliana said at 4:34 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Será que só as mulheres poderao festejar aquele dia...?
Eduardo.affonso said at 5:21 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
LILIANA: Mulheres e homens de ambos os sexos...
Eduardo.affonso said at 5:26 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
SHEILA: I'm surprised that most of you hadn't heard of that day. I was created by the United Nations and is well known in Brazil. It's not a holiday (like Labour's Day) but I saw many women being congratulated, and at least one woman asking a man if he had forgotten that it was "her" day!
Love2laugh said at 5:33 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Nope - totally new for me Eduardo. And to think ... I have spent 48 years of my life not being honored ??? hahahaha... wow... !! I have missed out ! I feel special now though. (thanks to you)
Eduardo.affonso said at 5:42 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
WELL, SHEILA, YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR SON (AND/OR YOUR FIANCÉ, FRIENDS, BROTHERS, COUSINS, UNCLES, NEIGHBORS) TO PAY THAT DEBT. 48 GIFTS, ROSES OR KISSES WOULD BE BAD AT ALL, DON'T YOU AGREE?
Liliana said at 5:57 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
¿Viste...?No es tan "internacional", yo te dije lo de Indonesia...
Liliana said at 6:46 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Che, Eduardo, ¡¡¡te vas a quedar sin adjetivos en inglés para seguir elogiando a las "women"!!! Gracias a Dios existen los diccionarios.
Lucemiami said at 7:30 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Eduardo , that's so sweet of you... What a great idea, I feel really honored and touched to be part of your Tabblo..Thank you also to remember that it was "Women's Day"...Luce
Eduardo.affonso said at 7:43 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
LILIANA: Acho que vou mesmo precisar urgentemente de um "adjetivógeno". Até onde sei, o dia é mesmo internacional, e foi criado pela ONU. Pode ser que a Indonésia tenha tido motivos para celebrar em outro dia, vá saber...

LUCE: I am the one who must thank you - for your photos and for your visit!
Liliana said at 8:01 p.m. on Mar 9, 2007:
Love2laugh said at 1:00 a.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
Eduardo ... if I got 48 kisses ... or 48 roses ... I'd marry the man.. hahaha... I agree though.. it would not be bad at all. One for every year. Hmmmm... could take awhile too... but I'd be willing to take the time to make sure I get all of them. I'm a giver though... so I think I'd want to do something in return... in fact... I KNOW I WOULD !!!!!
Pkeener said at 9:44 a.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
I am with you LOVE2LAUGH!!! Sounds like a fun project! :) PS Nobody in my country acknowledged me and in fact when I said the next day..."By the way, did you know it was INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY"? To every man I ran into, their immediate response was..."What?? Well, When is the MEN"S day"?
Liliana said at 2:19 p.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
Pam , it is so strange for me!! Here, I received flowers and many people said "Happy Women Day"...
Pkeener said at 3:46 p.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
LILIANA I am so glad that you received your flowers and pleasant greetings. What country are you from?
Love2laugh said at 6:33 p.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
PKEENER - Since Eduardo is the man that honored us on this day I was not even aware of ... :) how about we just have an "EDUARDO DAY" ... ? hahahaha.... We just have to make sure he doesn't come dressed like some of the men at the Carnival in Rio ... wearing heels ... and let us wear them instead. (grin)
Leftofcenter said at 6:45 p.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
love2laugh> INTERNATION EDUARDO DAY has already been declared, see somewhere above (so many comments!!!) APRIL 22, we haven't decided between margaritas or tequilas!! LOL
Love2laugh said at 6:58 p.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
Leftofcenter - Count me in then. I'm on board to celebrate the day. I had not read allll of the comments as this one had so many... hahaha.. so I missed it. Thanks for clueing me in on it though. LOL
Jigs said at 10:23 p.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
Over here, my BFF's — that's Hollywood-speak for Best Friends Forever — and I happily exchanged greetings on this Dia de la Uber-Mujer Internacional. In fact, the whole month is dedicated to women all over the world and the occasion is well noted here in the Philippines, being a historically matriarchal society and having a woman president at that.

Now for the International Eduardo Day — I'm not sure I can dare to wear those Carnival outfits (as Pkeener suggested, especially those skyscraper high heels, but I wouldn't mind wearing a pair of havaianas and toasting to Eduardo's continued good health and great charm with a glass or two of Caipirinha! Salvação! ;-)
Katkee said at 11:40 p.m. on Mar 10, 2007:
JIGS I didn't suggest the outfits...I think that was LOVE2LAUGH :) What are Havaiannas? But I am DOWN for the celebration, no matter what the attire! PS I think this Tabblo might win for most comments ever on a Tabblo!!

Siagian said at 12:11 a.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
eduardo, ...you really hit a home-run with this tabblo (or in the rest of the world...goal!)...well done dude, well done...
Jigs said at 12:32 a.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
Katkee — Havaianas is that Brazilian brand of flipflops that are oh-so-popular-&-trendy in Manila! Now that summer is practically here, you'll see them being sold EVERYWHERE!!!
Katkee said at 1:50 a.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
leica I love your comment in the form of a poem~so perfect for our dear edu~jigs I must have about 15 pair of flip flops, but none of these~i looked at the website and now i feel i MUST order a pair in green to acknowledge Brazil and eduardo's favourite coulor :) a good excuse to go shopping for shoes, eh?
Liliana said at 3:02 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
Pam, I am from Argentna, I live in Buenos Aires.
Eduardo.affonso said at 5:49 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
Well, I left for the weekend and now I notice you girls have been using this tabblo as a chat room!

SHEILA: I don't think I would be able to give 48 kisses. 480 or 4800 seems more suitable... Don't worry, I'd never dress like those guys, not even during Carnivals (my brother's mother in law lent him the clothes he wore for Carnivals... and my other brother used to steal my mom's dresses, bras and high heels shoes to wear on these parades - it's a Brazilian tradition, but I'm not that traditional...). By the way, my sister always had fun during Carnivals wearing my dad's suits, a fake moustache and a black umbrella.
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:01 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
JIGS: "Dia de la uber-mujer"? Isn't it redundant? Aren't all women "uber"?? Or "super", at least? A toast with capirinha would be perfect, but tequilas and San Miguel would be fine, as well.

DANIELLE: Salamat, salamat! Your Portuguese pronunciation is delicious...

KATE: 15 pairs of sandals? Are you a catepillar or what?? Just in case you need a 16th pair I think some green (or yellow-green) havaianas would be a good choice. They became popular all over the world because they are quite comfortable, fashionable and pretty cheap (in Brazil, at least). I have two pairs only (no, I'm not a quadruped!), both black.
Liliana said at 6:06 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
¡¡Pero yo hablé con las indonesias el 8 de marzo...!! ¿Viste la foto e las ojotas? No está linda y, la verdad, no tengo "fólego" de empezar a lidiar con el sistema de instalar fotos. Quizás, con la nueva cámara (no sé si leíste mi mail) me anime a algo. Pero no sé si tiene sentido, en este momento, para mí.
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:08 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
PAMELA: All the other days, but March 8th, are Men's Day. Sounds quite fair, don't you think so? You see, that date is celebrated in Brazil, Argentina, Philippines... why not in the US? Hillary Clinton has chances to become the next President, Condoleeza Rice is the most powerful woman in the world - it just doesn't make sense to me.

WOODY: Hope more male-tabbloers will make similar tabblos next year.

ANNELIES: In case you can't decide (margueritas or tequilas), simply take both.
Love2laugh said at 6:25 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
Eduardo ... 480 or 4800 kisses... NOW WE'RE TALKING !!! (evil grin) I'm in line waiting now. As for dressing up... well at Halloween here in the USA ... Tammy (my sister) has dressed up like men and had male friends she dressed up as women. Pretty funny. But it was not Carnival... but for free candy..hahaha......
Katkee said at 6:30 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
~no, i am only a bi-ped,eduardu~just call me "Imelda" ;D
Liliana said at 8:52 p.m. on Mar 11, 2007:
¿Tenés ojotas negras...?¿No te las encontraste en la laya, el veintipico de enero...?¡¡Eran de Rodri!! Son numero 40 (chicas para vos, creo...). En un mail te voy a contar la aventura del vendedor de picolé y las "havaianas"... tragicómica.

Pkeener said at 9:36 a.m. on Mar 12, 2007:
EDU 2 pair and both BLACK? You had better get some more festive colors for our IED celebration. LILIANA I have been wanting to travel to South America for many years, and Argentina and Brazil are top on my list. Of course, after watching the movie MOTORCYCLE DIARIES with the delicious Gael Garcia Bernal, I wanted to see Argentina even more. :)
Leftofcenter said at 9:56 a.m. on Mar 12, 2007:
you're so right Pam, 2 pair really AIN'T CHILL!!! i have about 20 pair in all colors, cheap expensive, that's what i wear as soon as i see some dead grass... How bout a TABBLO REUNION in Rio??
(i'll bring the margaritas)
Pkeener said at 10:03 a.m. on Mar 12, 2007:

PS Hey everybody..There is some really FINE photography on this page!!
Liliana said at 5:11 p.m. on Mar 12, 2007:

Gracias, OSCAR! Thanks, LIESEL! Welcome to my tabblos, TNOUK. None of these photos are mine, so your compliment goes to all these talented women and their powerful cams.

TAMMY: When are you going to post your photos dressed like a man? And why did you have to add a "belly"? Are you telling us, in a subtle way, that your "enchanted prince" must love beer and hate physical exercise?

ANNELIES: A meeting in Rio would be great. George W Bush has just left so the country is back to normality. Margaritas would be perfect, but you should accept Jig's sugestion and try some caiprinhas, too. It's Brazilian typical drink (much better than margaritas, believe me).

KATE: I was going to mention Imelda, but I prefer not to offend your...

PAM: My favorite meal?? Wow! In case you don't now yet, my favorite meal is... FOOD.
Love2laugh said at 6:53 p.m. on Mar 13, 2007:
Tammy ... don't you DARE post my picture of me in the Holland outfit..hahaha... because that is my GOOFY look.. (not that I don't have many others). We can leave those lovely pictures IN THE FAMILY. hahahaha... I don't think a tabblo could handle it... !!! What is funny about the day she dressed up as a Monk - Eduardo - is she went up and PINCHED a friend of hers on the rear end... for fun... not realizing the lady thought it was a man pinching her ... and she wanted to punch Tammy or tell her husband about this "MAN" who had done that.. !!! Remember Tam ???
Pkeener said at 7:58 p.m. on Mar 13, 2007:
Well, I guess I can manage that! I heard it had something to do with grabbing a live chicken and cutting off it's head?
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:04 p.m. on Mar 13, 2007:
PAM: you shouldn't have told anyone I like such "cruel food"... All these ladies believe I'm sort of a romantic and sensitive man, they would be very disappointed if they knew how "naenderthalic" is my taste for food...
Leftofcenter said at 9:19 p.m. on Mar 13, 2007:
a live chicken??? blood??? guess we'll need a couple of pitchers of those CAIPIRINHAS!!!!!!! (i googled it, good enough for me) IS THE CHAT ROOM RE-OPENED??? lol
Leftofcenter said at 9:20 p.m. on Mar 13, 2007:
btw Pam, nice new smile!
Love2laugh said at 9:24 p.m. on Mar 13, 2007:
WOW .. Eduardo ... live chickens and cutting off heads ?? hahahaha. Well as long as you have roses or orchids close by... I guess you can do what ever you want with food..hahaha.. and I'll still think your romantic.. (evil grin)
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:07 a.m. on Mar 14, 2007:
ANNELIES & SHEILA: One of my favorite dishes is "galinha ao molho pardo" (chicken with dark sauce), which is the typical food of Minas Gerais (state where I was born). The poor chicken is cooked in its own blood - so you must buy a live chicken, cut its head, collect all the blood and then cook the chicken and make the sauce (blood, lemon or vinegar, spices). It's delicious, believe me. I hope Pam will be able to kill the chicken and then I do the rest.
Leftofcenter said at 8:53 a.m. on Mar 14, 2007:
sounds delicious (pam get the rubber gloves ready)
Pkeener said at 9:28 a.m. on Mar 14, 2007:
I think NOT, EDUARDO, even though this dinner is in your honor, I am a pacifist and refuse to kill by Conscientious Objection...I will gladly cook this delicacy under your direct supervision and many of the margaritas that Annelies is bringing!
Leftofcenter said at 10:17 a.m. on Mar 14, 2007:
caipirinhas
Eduardo.affonso said at 11:58 a.m. on Mar 14, 2007:
PAM: Well, as I am a pacifist, too, I think we are going to eat broccoli and invite the chicken for the party. It will be funny to have a drunk chick celebrating with us.

ANNELIES: I'll teach you how to make different kinds of caipirinhas (besides the traditional one, with lemon). You can use also pineapple, passion fruit, kiwi, tangerine, lime, sweet lime, orange, strawberry... hmmm

TAMMY: It's easier for me to imagine the chicken catching Pam!
Love2laugh said at 8:13 p.m. on Mar 14, 2007:
Eduardo - I've sampled some strange foods in other foreign countries, and if you don't tell me what I'm eating... I'd try this dish too. Of course, if it's in your honor ... well I'd not even question it..hahaha... but I'm going to leave it to Pam, to CATCH the chicken. :) I'm sure if she's cooking it while drinking Margaritas ... that sauce may not be quite the delicacy you are use to eating... hahaha... :)))
Pkeener said at 12:39 a.m. on Mar 15, 2007:
OMG and LOL. Caipirinhas, Margaritas, shots of Tequila, Whatever. Bring it on! I love a challenge, oh and BTW, EDU, you might want to book a table for 50 or so at your favorite restaurant, and don't forget to reserve a seat for the chicken.

MICHELLE & ANJA: It was hard to choose only one of your photos, among so many great ones, but it was the way I found to express my admiration for you.

this wasn't a TOD????? omg we had such a good time with the caipirinhas and all... :)
Eduardo.affonso said at 7:11 p.m. on May 6, 2008:
I don't think "TOD" had already been invented by that time, ANNELIES. But it should had been a "postumous TOD", don't you agree?
Leftofcenter said at 7:14 p.m. on May 6, 2008:

MIKE: This tabblo was posted ages ago (2007), and didn't belong to any group yet. I just added three new photographers, to replace those who had left Tabblo (and removed their photos which were featured here).

JAMES: Yes, truly amazing...
