Winter in Carinthia - Klippitz - Austria

Klippitzthörl is in Carinthia (Kärnten), part of the Seethaler-Alps in Austria. It is a secluded place above 1.600 m and there is an abundance of snow and a sense of remoteness. Within a week's ski-touring (with furs) I didn't meet a single person but I crossed numerous wildlife traces. You can walk into dense forests all immersed in deep snow and you can climb the windswept, barren tops that are within reach.

wow, great photos!! I love the pictures where the window is blowing snow everywhere... and the foggy one is great as well. That's a lot of snow in that 8th photo!

Your photos are... the "dreamed" Austria, the image we have about your country!!! So full of snow, pines, that sky... Very very beautiful. I like very much all of them, especially the moon´s pic. Also I find very nice the one where people is indoor, speaking around a table.
