Me 'n' Mo

Last November, I went to Kansas to visit my niece, Moriyah (Mo).  We had a great time hanging out, taking pictures and humoring her pets.  On Saturday, we went for a walk to explore the land around her house.  It was a beautiful fall day and we took a lot of pictures of the trees, each other, and some weird stuff I have never seen!  If you haven't spent time lately with a ten year old girl, I highly recommend it.  Nothing beats the insights and philosophies of a bright and creative child.  Plus you have an excuse to giggle, eat ice cream and cookies, check out some cool toys, take a walk in a sweatshirt and tennies, look at great books, be brought up to date on the latest fashion trends, and discuss GROSS things that ten year old boys say and do. Below are: Jake and Biscuit, her crazy/sweet dogs.  Otis, the black cat , and all around KING of the house, and Simca, the beautiful, but reclusive, feline.

The rabbit you see above is the beloved  "Pinkie" Moriyah's  first and most precious pet.  Pinkie has always been held in the highest esteem, and I can't remember a single visit that didn't include her.

What lies Before us and What lies Behind us are tiny matters compared to what lies Within us.

Some funky plant life in those woods. Either that's a huge camera or it just looks huge in Mo's tiny hands. Or, Mo is extremely tiny. :)
