February 21, 2007 was the second installment of Briana's Ancient Civilizations series: Ancient China |

This time, the activity room was illuminated with red mood lighting, and enchanting Oriental music played in the background |

Mrs. Debbie and Mr. Israel assisted with the edible activities |

Jasmine, chamomile and chai teas were brewed by Mrs. Debbie |
The jasmine tea didn't go over so well |

The chai tea was met with much more enthusiasm |
The white rice with sesame seeds produced a curious scent, but that did not stop the group from eating six cups of rice by the Dixie-cup-full |

The tea and rice were a big hit |
Rice that puts a smile on your face! |

Everyone worked hard and had fun completing their activity booklets, solving puzzles, and wearing their cute, yellow hardhats -- sometimes moms helped out, too |

A bag of prizes awaited those who completed the activities |

Buddah even had fun! |
