Hey, what a great collection of street signs, I love it. Great variety and colour and very well presented. Super sharp and detailed image as well. Really nice layout.

Thank You JOAN! I spent the the weekend on my scooter with my camera. It makes a huge difference when there isn't a windshield in the way! JOHN, You ARE the sign master! I only cheated on 2. The Laughing Monkey and the Blues signs are both from Vail, Colorado. PAULA, there are many eclectic neighborhoods in Denver. It is a fun city. ANNELIES, this was one sign in a row of apartment buildings for one whole block called "Poets Row"! They have been preserved by the Dept of Interior...Most are very Art Deco. Don't be jealous, I am waiting for yours!! Katkee, we share the same planet; Venus! LAURA, you would love the Laughing Monkey. it is a boutique and has so many cool things in it! Clothes, jewelry, kids stuff, funky scarves, sunglasses, hats..

Great collection! I have found when you are on a particular photo quest, subjects seem to be everywhere; otherwise you don't notice that detail of the environment. And the "No Scooters" sign would get your attention! I was perplexed about the "Pres. Elect" sign; what was the context of that? Tammy, that was Jeff Foxworthy who gave out the signs.

Thanks Guys! OLDB You are so right about that! The Pres Elect was an old rusted parking space sign in a parking lot on Sherman St between 8th and 9th. JERRY you don't EVEN know how right you are about Herman's...a fave hang out for years that supports local muscians and national acts! Spent many evenings there listening and dancing...NINA It was a fun day! I have a ton more pics for another Tabblo, too! FRED it is on the window of a favorite French Bistro called Le Central where I had met friends for brunch that day. Dazzle is my favorite Jazz Club featuring great local and famous Jazz artists. SHIRL! I thought the same about "Rue" when I lived in Louisiana! ANDERS the key is to IMMEDIATLY edit and send to Tabblo! SO many Pics. So little time..

I like signs too. Severe or funny, graphical or mayhem, informative or decorative. In funny series I have my own best shot: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/143/336037665_c7b7f24f65.jpg It tells you in finnish and swedish that when the bridge is closed you have to go another rout.
