Wonderful idea. You're certainly clever. Nice shooting.

I really like the spy glass over the fountain pen and the word photography. Also like the sculpture. Very creative and your images are so sharp, as always.

This is great, Joan! I, too, love the magnifying glass on the dictionary. Well done and very original.

Hmm. I thought I had commented this tabblo!!! Anyways, such a great circle collection you have Joan. As always sharp, well exposed and great photography. It's hard to not fall in love with the open book picture, it's so awesome. Wonderful tabblo

Thanks for your kind comments everyone. Anders, you may have thought you commented on this before because a few of the photos appeared in previous Tabblos Creation 1 and 2.
The blue star/flower shape was made from a single ballpoint pen with a transparent barrel, which has a blue diode light inside it. I photographed it in a mirror and then duplicated and rotated it and merged the pics together to make the circle. The pink flower and the first photo of the snow-globe were made with a kaleidoscape effect which someone described to me once. I have the information somewhere and will post it with samples in the Photo Information group some time in the near future.

Joan you are so creative, I love specially the magnifying glass and the clock ... where is that red sculpture ??? Really nice pictures ..
JoanW said at 4:18 p.m. on Mar 20, 2007:
Thanks Luce. The red sculpture is on some steps right near the harbour in Old Montreal just outside the Science Centre. It's very big and it represents the symbol of the Science Centre, so I have been told, but it is difficult to confirm. I have tried Google with no success on tracking down who created it or any other details.

that bubble pic is astounding!! fantastic collection you've got here.
JoanW said at 8:31 p.m. on Mar 20, 2007:
Ah. Zero! the bubble picture.......well that is a bit of photo editing. First I took the shot of my hands, then I used Jasc PaintShop Pro filter Bubbles to create one large bubble, and then I used a paintbrush to do the rainbow colours on one side. Not too well, but you get the effect. It was for another photosite where they had a "Hands" challenge. Thanks for your comments.

What a great tabblo of Circles. I especially like the 1st one and also the Bubble in the hands. I thought to myself "Wow how did she do that?". I'll have to learn how to use those photo editing programs too. Maybe once I am retired? Thanks Joan for all your comments and help with my tabblos. Much appreciated!
