ITINERARY TOWARDS MY CHILDHOOD

ITINERAIRE D'UN VOYAGE VERS MON ENFANCE

Mes chers amis,

Thierry-chiloedream.

ITINERARY TOWARDS MY CHILDHOOD

My dear friends,

I just returned from a beautiful trip on my mountain bike to the Morocco of my childhood:

2 months away from tabblo, millions of images, more than 2600km by the strength of

the calf, through France, Spain and Morocco, a homecoming to distant roots that one cannot

forget... I missed you all. This tabblo is the first one of a small series: I will

subsequently break down my trip into themes: people, countryside, the sea, the cities...

Yours sincerely. Thierry-chiloedream.

The slipstreams carry away our travels, they engulf the pages of our books, they

confuse our ultimate dreams and our surviving illusions... They are the instant and brief

memory of the passer-by. They write the stories of our lives and the story of the world...

Already at the horizon, the blue trail of the Biladi absorbs the memory of our wandering...

All that is left over the ocean waves is the promise of more travels...

To set sail again, once more, to write more pages...

Yours sincerely , thierry-chiloedream

I've been following your adventure on your blog. The images and story you tell could easily be from the pages of National Geographic. You've created a magnificent photo essay of your travels and that part of the world.

Excepté la photo du chien mort — which wrenched my heart terribly — I savored each of your photographs with great gusto! Thank you very much for virtually taking us with you on your wonderful journey and for sharing with us that your amazing eye has seen. Your photos are très très fantastic! Moi aussi — I too look forward to enjoying more from your "bicycle diaries" across the many many miles to your childhood home and back! It's amazing what you did, biking all the way and back, and I applaud you!
