I'll See Your Smile One Day

There are some lines

That we cannot cross

We cannot erase

We cannot redraw

Written in permanent ink

We can't see how or why

Immovable, strong and bold

Like a wrought iron fence

Sometimes my heart catches

A glimpse of His promises

In those moments where a breeze

Seems to make time stand still

As weeks turn into months and years

Those moments are less fleeting

More frequent, more comforting

And peace and hope take hold

For Gabe, love and miss you, Mommy

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Hebrews 11:1

For a glimpse of Gabe's life in heaven, listen to "Gabe's Lullaby", written by his Grandfather Jack Nester, and co-written/sung by Elizabeth Montgomery. Available on iTunes.

What a lovely photograph. It';s so unusual. It's good that you have taken the shot through the bars, it makes it look like peeking in, into someone's garden and watching the children play. The verse is excellent also.
