It Came!! Thanks, Mr. Diamond Guy :)

Here it is!! The FedEx box!! Can't wait to open it! (My face pic hides my personal info)

This is exciting!!!  You'll enjoy reading this.

I  HAD to TABBLO this!!!!

I recently WON a proposal contest from Diamond Cutters International.   I won a 2007 Proposal contest.

You may want to enter a proposal contest yourself:  click here! :)   and go to contests.

I won a 200.00  necklace!  :)  (Make that 500.00 plus tax...Fred just alerted me! Cool beans!)   Weeee!!!!  Now, THAT was a delightful call when Claudia called me from Diamond Cutters International!  :)

I also qualify for a quarterly drawing for 2,500.00 in diamonds....wouldn't that be something?!

Anyhow,

TODAY IT CAME!!!

I hungerly open it (LOL) and there is the famous "box in a box" going on......

I can't wait to see it!! This is sooo fun! :)

Here is the evidence of my ripping them open in excitement! What a nice day to start a weekend!

Ah! A box in box again!! This one is solid and has Fred Cuellar's business card attached. (He is an awesome guy.)

AHHHHH!! Foiled again...another box in a box...LOL Actually, it is excellently packed.

LOL...yes....a box in a box....(wouldn't it be funny if I won a little diamond box?!)....EAGER to OPEN!!! *Lustful Pants* This wooden box is solid and just beautiful in person. Again, everything is wonderfully packed.

Ah-ha!! Here it is!! Success!! :) It is so solid, heavy, and wonderful!

Here are some more shots

This one is blurry...my camera does NOT do it justice (Sorry, Fred!!)

This pendent has the title: the Calatrava Cross. Fred researched this heavily after seeing it on the costly Patek Philippe Watch he purchased for himself as a little treat after a stroke in 1998. He wrote this booklet on it.

Both by Fred Cuellar

Another shot of the booklet explaining the history of this pendant's background.

Here is the first time I "took it out" :) FUN!

Diamond Cutters International: Your Top Source for Diamond Expertise!

Trying to capture the quality and beauty, but I think I need a different camera! LOL

Your Top Source for Diamond Expertise

Educating diamond buyers since 1985

Diamond Cutters International (DCI) has been involved in educating diamond buyers since 1985. In 1991 owner Fred Cuellar, also known as The Diamond Guy®, penned the best seller, “How to Buy a Diamond” and became the diamond expert for a variety of publications and organizations including Men’s Health Magazine, America Online, The Weddingpages, and MSNBC. In 1998 DCI developed the National Diamond Helpline, dispensing free advice and appraisals on a toll free number.

DCI is one of America’s few diamond houses open to the public by appointment only.

To get an idea for the level of quality and craftsmanship you can expect from DCI, visit our Design Portfolio and Championship Rings gallery for samples of our work.

**BTW, on another occassion I also was gifted by FRED an autographed copy of his WONDERFUL book, "How to Buy a Diamond". (Thanks again, Fred!!)

THAT book was the best read!  I highly recommend it!! It is soooo readable....if you like his website (check it out!)....you'll love the book!!

Here I am in my PJ's showing it off!

I'm trying to do your pendant justice, but can't seem to pull it off, Fred! I hope the thought counts! :)

Here it is...it looks a million times better in person!

It looks great and feels great to wear!! Thanks, Fred!

Last attempt to get a nice picture of it. This pic came out okay of it. That rope is solid and HEAVY!!!!

When the delivery came, I was in my pj's!!!!

So, not wanting to take a picture of me  just up without so much as a morning  coffee or Power Bar, I decided to focus on the gift....the wonderful pendant!!  That is what the picture is supposed to be about anyhow!

Kelly: One Happy Owner of a Diamond Cutters International Piece!!!!

Wow, Kelly, the necklace is so very beautiful! It looks so well made as well as unique.
Interesting to know there is a background to the pendants design. I like how you presented
the necklace from receiving it to opening it to wearing it. Congrats on your win! Love, Mom xx
