General

I photographed pages from my sketch books, and organized them into a few groups. The works range from around 1990 to 2006. I don't spend time drawing that often, but it's fun to do. This set contains the things on the pages between the good stuff, and a few random, supporting images.

Image Edits

Most of this was done with black ink or graphite. I love my Rapidograph pen set! (not pictured below.) I used grayscale to make the background more white in most of them. For the images that had touches of colour: I duplicated the original layer in grayscale, and copy-brushed the colour from the original onto an empty layer above that.

"you have the VISION but you keep it all to yourself", I like that, can I use it for my next tabblo?

I miss my Rapidograph Set!! This is really nice, John. It's a great collage and mixing it up by adding photos to your drawings gives a slice of life feel. nice to see the kiities. Good catch Tammy, on the CD. I really like the random sketches on the notebook page. Looks like my old class notes, only better.

lefty, you already know, but so it's written here in public, that phrase is from the song, 'carmen queasy'. pan, that angle was really hard to get. i was pretty much upside down. kaz, *mwah*. pam, it's sad that they don't make rapidograph's anymore. i've never had a better pen set. i could only guess that they went out of business because once you had a set, unless you lost it, you'd never need to get another. :s all, thanks for the comments; the content gets better in the other sets.
