Our tour of Ilocos started with power shutdown. Our country observes the Lenten Season. so it means a long vacation. Our building administrator takes this time to do some maintenance. They opted to shutd the power in our building for 48 hours. This means really no work!

       My officemates were looking at a Map and was contemplating to spend lent out of the City. Then I remembered that one of my officemate is from Laoag, Ilocos Norte. I asked her if its okay if we spend lent with them and at the same time tour old spanish churches.

       The top left photo is a picture of us waiting for our bus ride. we were staring at some cheezy television show.  8:30PM we load the bus and took pictures while we try to find a position where we could sleep during out 10 hour night trip.
