Easter at the Nester's

We've had a cold streak in Oklahoma and it warmed up just enough that we could go for our annual tromp in the woods without coats on Easter Sunday. Thanks to Eric for taking the family photo, it turned out just perfect.

Raeleigh, who has only been walking two months, did a great job walking on the rough terrain. And big sister Danielle was brave when Daddy put her up on the tree trunk.

It was our first time out to the parent's place since the ice storm plundered their trees in January. Jack has done a great job cleaning it up with his trusty chainsaw, and they'll have enough firewood for a decade to come.

Neal commented on how he thought he and his dad did a great job picking out which trees to thin out when they built the log cabin...but Mother Nature had something different in mind! So true....we may have to even plant some more trees! Ha!
