Interesting. It looks like a fractal snowflake or an aerial view of an elaborate garden. Did you do a segment wedge and then build out from that?

I don't know how you did this but very artistic!

[All] thank you. [LatentE] if by 'segment wedge' you mean doing 1/4th and rotating, no, but i copy/rotated/pasted the gray circular area after i did one of them, the 'arm' pieces, and the blue parts in the corners. [Mittens] it's Pixel Art, drawing by points. you can click the 'Pixel Art' link under the image to read more about it.

Actually it's a one eighth wedge that I was thinking of. If you draw diagonals from each corner I think you'll see the symmetry. Other than the shadow patterns in the corners and the "A" like pattern in the very center the remaining patterns seem to be mirrors of each other. This is probably some latent nightmares of organic chemistry surfacing. Enantiomers and diastereomers, though those are even more complex being three dimensional. Sort of the significance of "D" lysergic acid (dextro rotating polarized light).

I totally agree with LatentE..................Hmm No LOL!!, I know nothing about this technique, but really appreciate the enormous work and patience it must have taken to create this wonderful "snowflake" Great job as always John
