Oxford vs. Cambridge 2007

7th of April and the race is on for the 153rd boat race of the two oldest universities in Britain.

To enjoy it you have to find your mates first... after several calls and waveing at the end finally united!

Then followes the warmup....

...of course you should spend some attention on the river, otherwhise you'll miss the warm-up race, here clearly (and sadly) dominated by Cambridge...

Cambridge

Oxford

after finding the perfect spot, cleaning up the river and of course more warm up the main attraction can begin

When the armada appeared under Hammersmith Bridge Oxford was still in the lead...

...unfortunately that changed by the time the boats passed us and sadly stayed like this until the end. In short, Cambridge won

So the final count after 153 races is Oxford 73 and Cambridge 79 (for all those who now say: "hey, that is just 152!" There was a dead heat in 1877).

The 2008 Race will be on Saturday March 29th at 17.15h at 17.15
