Storm on the Horizon

Far back of our property by the pitching mound (see it?). They already have the cement streets behind there for the new subdivision...

The ever welcoming (save the NO SOLICITING sign!) home of thebeautifullife family. LOL

DALLAS, TX---@ 16:49 (4:49pm CST)

It is very overcast ("thunderstorm-on-the-horizon") looking and windy (heck, it is ALWAYS windy here!!)....

We are under a tornado watch until midnight thus far....

The bad stuff is supposed to come tonight.....

Hope it doesn't......(hope with me!)  :)

On the upside, I moved some of my outdoor plants up close in the outdoor entry area that is blocked off by two brick walls....and it looks charming! LOL   Never thought of doing that.

Want to come in for some tea??

TABBLO how the weather is RIGHT NOW by YOU!!!  :)

Guess we're on the same page this afternoon - I just went out on my upstairs balcony and took some photos of the storm the just rolled in - I'm expecting bad weather here too. Not happy about it as hubby is flying from Phoenix w/a layover in Houston and then here - bad weather all the way - hope he makes it w/out delay - and safely!

Yes ... right now at 7pm Central, Here in San Antonio ... we are about to get hit too. There is a tornado warning West of us. If you look at the USA Radar map right now, it looks like a big sting-ray is floating over and the tail goes from Oklahoma through TX to Mexico.

Batton down the hatches! =) Mary Therese

Hi Kelly. Are you OK? I have been in Louisiana all week and the weather is beautiful, but I left Dever with a snow storm on it's way. I would love to stop by for tea in your garden.

Tornado's were all around us close, but never came to our city (were about 14 miles away--close enough)...we really were lucky and didn't even get damaging winds nor hail (you get baseball sized here and some cities did!). Texas is famous for that...so many car dealerships (well, TRUCK SUV dealerships..LOL...we don't really do cars) have "HAIL SALES" :D IT looked BLACK And scary but turned out okay for us :) The tornado(s) that touched down I think killed one :( Thanks for asking.
