During the Tornado Warning

When Dallas, TX went through their Tornado Warning and we finally were included in it, I bravely snuck out to capture this shot (my only thought:  save the kids & Tabblo it!! hahahahaha).

This is totally untouched.

You can see the wind blowing the big grasses at the driveway's end.

Anyhow, it was way DARKER (it got pitch black--scary) than the camera captured.  But, at least you can see the menacing clouds.....

I have been through a few tornadoes in my life, and this photograph really captures the feeling...it's kind of an eerie, heavy feeling. Good job! (I love all of your family tabblos, too)

Ohh I know these sights all too well. Have seen some skys like this many a time - spooky spooky stuff there! You're a brave soul - I'm usually crouched in the closet under the stairs w/the battery operated tv watching the weather forcaster give a "blow by blow" of what's going on!

The sky gets so strange and it IS eerie. Great job getting your shots in, kelly. Probably freaked out your family, doing it!

Isn't the power of nature awesome? You did a good job of portraying the heavy leaden skies. I've been through the same kind of dark weather - it's darn near indescribable.
