The Full Deck

Early in 2007, one of my former professors from Syracuse university, Gail Hoffman, contacted me and many other S.U. alumni to tell us about "The Full Deck," a collaborative playing card exhibit. She reached out to us as former students in her 2D Problem Solving class in hopes that some of us might want to submit a piece to the exhibition. Stacey and I decided to participate. We were given a choice of three playing cards, and we could design one or more of them in any medium (we had strict dimensions, though). I painted a Three of Hearts. Stacey and I went up to Syracuse for the opening reception, and participated on a panel of S.U. grads for an Alumni Talkback, where freshman students could ask us questions. Later we had dinner with the faculty and other alumni. That weekend, we enjoyed the most fabulous weather I've ever seen in Syracuse, and we were both really glad we did it!

Clever idea and nicely done! I had trouble reading your whole narrative, though. Perhaps you could lower the third line of photos so the writing will be clearer?
