Peace Abbey Sherborn MA

The crown of thorns on the Christ statue's head is made from the barbed wire surrounding the Nevada Nuclear Test Site.

While I was at the Peace Abbey today, I had the opportunity to register myself as a Conscientious Objector.  The process is very quick.  You read aloud a short declaration in front of two witnesses and then everyone signs the book.

At nearly 50 years of age... better late than never.
