Cottonwood Wash Adventures

   Monday, April 30th, 2007:

    Cottonwood  Wash Road is a gravel, dirt, and  clay surface road that meanders 46 miles between HWY 89 (about 25 miles west of Page) and Kodachrome Basin State Park.   The road follows the scenic Cockscomb monocline, generally a northerly direction.   It gives access to Grosvenor Arch.   Also along the way is Hackberry Canyon, Cottonwood Wash, and  Round Valley Draw.   It was in Round Valley Draw that we came upon and interesting slot...
