My Backyard

My backyard has become quite the animal kingdom. These are a few recent photos taken with my upgraded camera. The possum was quite a surprise since I live in an urban area. My cats were freaking out when they spotted this overgrown rat in "their" backyard.

I have been trying to get those kind of shots of birds for a while now, and when the birds see me, they fly. Yours are beautiful.

Tishfish, I used a 75-300 zoom lens on the bird shots. I would recommend one to try in your situation. The hummingbird was tough to get. Patience is a must for those little critters.
