These pictures were taken at Pesta Pulau Pinang last year. I remembered the fayre as one of the most awaited outing for me when I was small. There were a lot of attractions such as pony rides, 'Dinosaurs Alive' exhibition, shops selling millions of crafts, arts and clothes and not to mention various kind of foods.

However, over the years, the local fayre has lost some of it's magic. It seems like the size of the grounds has shrinked to half and most of the shops there are either selling tradisional medicines or selling real estates. How boring!

Fortunately, some part of the fayre has some life left in it. A dozen of rides decorated with a hundred lightbulbs all spinning coherently in a circle.

I'm quite surprised myself that my simple point and shoot camera managed to take quite an acceptable images (with a little help with Picasa editing, of course).
