Colors of Indus by Umair Ghani

Indus River, trans Himalayan, one of the longest rivers in the world, flowing through the entire length of Pakistan with total area of 3200 km. Indus is the home of world's most ancient Indus Valley Civilization in Moenjo Daro and Harapa [Pakistan]. Its ancient name was Sindhu [ Lion River ]. Originating in Tibet, it passes through mountain gorges, valleys, plains and platues and falls into Arabian Sea near Pakistani port of Karachi.

 

These pics were shot near Chashma Barrage, on Fuji Velvia 50.

these were shot with Canon EOS 5 and Sigma 15-30mm lens on Fuji Velvia 50 film. the clouds spread like a blured sky and created that impact, a vey typical feature of wide angle lens. may be scanning also played its part. regards!
