Melbourne Street Artist

I was walking along the city street after mass & lunch today and came across this artist drawing on the pavement.   After asking him permission to photograph his art and dropping a few gold coins in his little art box. I took out my camera to photograph his works.  He used only coloured chalk from his art box and he started touching up the 3 pictures he had drawn.  People stopped for a look, commented on his works and skills, dropped a few gold coins in his art box and moved on.  Curious tourists took out their cameras for some snap shots of the artist and his works...

These are moments of creativity and artistic prowess caught in photoimages. Mel, you have captured the essence of how art permeates all levels of society regardless of country, race or religion. You were bless to be there. Thanks for sharing the images. Pat Lim
