Noe - Thank you. I had gotten an e-mail the other day with all of these cities in Texas and I thought of doing a tabblo ... but wasn't sure what to do with it. Then Tammy said the same thing... "would make a great tabblo" .... so I had to do it. :)

Vinca - It's a great state to live in. LOL

Tammy - I liked how it turned out too. Just thought taking some of my favs lately would have to do. Sure stayed up way too late doing it though...:) Going to dread it today. Johnny Depp will have to be really good to keep me awake tonight. :))))

Thank you Jeoff. I just needed something to use with the description of towns in our State... so thought some of the scenery lately I've taken would just have to do. :) Didn't have time to go LOOKING for something new. :)

Hi Everyone ... I came home to all your wonderful comments ... and I feel overwhelmed.

Oscar - I just picked a few of my favorites from Tabblos I've done recently. :)

Bethe - I love Texas. I'm not native Texan ... but after living here 32 years now.. I think they can claim me.. LOL

Michael - these do not compare to some of the places you go with your family ... but it's still a GREAT STATE !!!

Zorro - You made me blush. I'm humbled by your extremely KIND WORDS !!!

Reta - C'mon ... You'd love it.

Bob - I guess there is no Chicago, TX... but we have our fair share of names...hahahah...

Thank you Loes !! I worked on this one more today after a friend of mine told me about a couple more cities to add to it. I also had not done a part of it that was on the e-mail I had gotten about these cities that night when I was so tired .... so I finished it today. I learned in the process a few techniques on Tabblo to help me on future tabblos... hopefully. Thanks for looking at it. :)

Awww.. thank you Pam. When a friend of mine told me I had missed a couple cities like "Italy, TX" and "Point Blank, TX", I decided if I were going to add them I would go through the effort and finish adding the part I was too tired to put on here the night I first made it. So I know it's a bit long ... but it's complete. :) Big ... like the state.. I guess. :) Thank you for revisiting it. You made me smile this morning.

I know you just saw the barbed wire shots on a recent tabblo, but I took some of my favs or favs that other people had mentioned and put it on this one since I needed something to go with the theme of the Texas Cities. What better ... then scenery in Texas ?? :) Thank you for your high compliments. They mean a lot to me. More then you know.

TIM - I thought the Kilgore being the Anti-Gore city was funny too, when I first got the e-mail with these cities. Never thought of it like that when I heard that city mentioned before. :)

SIMON - I'm glad you liked it. When I first sent the e-mail to my sister, she had said the same thing I was thinking .... "gotta make a tabblo with that" !!! I thought it tured out pretty good, and then even had someone help add a few more to it that the e-mail had left out. Made for a fun one to do. :)

This is truly terrific, Sheila... I LOVE it! It is so uplifting with great piccies, not to mention the fascinating place names. I have only been to Texas once. My husband and I and our older son, then about three went to San Antonio where my son had his first haircut then we went to try to find the whooping cranes at Aransas Park. We dove all the way from Manitoba, Canada!

WOW.. that was a long trip...Noreen :) San Antonio is a great city. I love the riverwalk down there. It has changed so much in the last few years too. This was a fun tabblo to do, because the cities made me laugh. I figured if I got a kick out of it ... maybe others would too. Fortunately I had made some tabblos recently that I could steal pics from .. hahahaha.. and I didn't have to go out looking for more. I could have put more on here.. but I think it was getting plenty long. Tabblo had froze up on me about 1/2 way through the download that night and I was too tired to add them back in ... so just went with what I had. Hope you will visit our wonderful state again some time. :)
