Memorial Day in Milford

These photos are from the annual Memorial Day observance in Milford, New Hampshire. 

 

No one here is famous.  On this day, nothing exceptional happened in Milford.  There were modest parades, solemn speeches, and fidgeting kids just like these all across the United States.  But this is my hometown.   It's vey special to me.

I grew up in a small town in NH. The faces are different, but the parades are the same.
