Every Tuesday nite there is a Farmer's Market on Alvarado Street (in Monterey).  It's the best place to buy fresh produce and try some of the local food.  All of the fruit stands will allow you to taste the produce b4 you purchase & it was yummy! For someone who loves to eat & cook this was my heaven. Ohhh and I wanted to sooo buy everything but could not carry all of it ;).  Kathy and I made 2 trips back and forth to her Jeep!  Will def go back for more...
