One of the important characterisations of the municipality Hilversum are the large and several tree-file.

A quality which is stipulated by the leafy picture of trees, both in private area and in the public space.

The municipality himself has about 27,000 trees which stand in streets, alleys, public gardens and parks, trees in bunch counterfoils and counterfoils with edge of the wood counted in. By a large wealth to types (about 403 different types), Hilversum belongs to the most varied and tree-riches municipalities of the Netherlands.

The variation and the value of the tree-file ask special care and attention. The conservation of valuable trees and insurrections in the interest of environment and nature -, landscape -, and townscape, form the main point.

Jan, this is a wonderful Tabblo. Full of life and interesting facts. Some of those trees look very old, and I am not used to this variety in COlorado.

Ik heb heel wat tabblos gemist tijdens m'n vakantie in Holland & Italië! This is what I love about the Netherlands all that lush green and Hilversum besides being "radio city" is a beautiful town.
