Wow, Dar - this is fantastic! I have never been to this part of Vancouver Island so it was a complete surprise to me when I opened your tabblo. There are lots of favourite photos, too many to choose from although I think the one of Fizz (hope I have the correct name) climbing the sloping tree trunk is wonderful. If you are able to change the text colour it might be easier to read the comments.

Thanks for the compliments, Candice, Noreen, and Mom! :) ... and thanks for the tip about the text colour Noreen! Schoen Provincial Park is just north of Sayward and about a 30 to 45 minute drive down a back road, depending on the state of the road at the time, but it was worth the trip.

LatentE you are so right; nature sure did put on a spectacular show for us, and all we did was point and click. ... oh, and just incase anyone is planning to go there, you should know that last summer a small child was attacted by a cougar. So if you have small children or pets with you, please be very careful!

OMGosh!!! and O WOW was my reaction when I saw this pictures. THEY ARE simply magnificent and awesome. WOW, I'm at awe with God's creation... so tranquil and peaceful. Great shots there and I LOVE the reflection pictures you have there.... AND the Rainbow toooo... O MY... hahahah, I just can't stop the O MY... lol..
Aw... your Westy is just so cute too. I missed my friend's one, he called her Snowy.

I agree with a lot of the comments above. A great Tabblo. I would print 3 views of the mountain and hang them side by side daylight, mist and setting sun. a really great collection

GyphonHeart I really appreciate your 'Oh My's, LOL, I too have the same reaction when I see a beautiful photo or tabblos, but then I will try to write a comment that is more insightful, but the 'oh my's' keep popping into my head, making it difficult to write what I think is something more coherent, ... but 'Oh my!'s are quite flattering, thank you! :)

Dar, this is SPECTACULAR! You have captured this one scene in so many different situations so professionally!! Magnificent job!! There are so many pictures that i really liked. The one in the middle, with clear reflections, the ones with the rainbow,the last shot, and the one with lots of bright clouds in the reflection, the cute doggy pictures, both of the dog trying to get into the tent and of him/her climbing the tree. LOL, the latter was so funny :o) I noticed that the rainbow is visible above the ground in the first shot and in the reflection too in the second. I also liked the little elements of interest in the small pictures. That makes it all the pictures, doesn't it? LOL. I wanted to check out this tabblo of yours yesterday itself when i visited your page late last night, but it was too late and i decided to wait till today morning. When i logged in, i saw it in the popular section and opened it immediately to see it. The entire tabblo is just fabulous and the slot well deserving. Very well done :o)

Thank you everyone for all the your wonderful comments; I'm very flattered! :) - Psychspirit, it wasn't difficult to take good photos at Schoen Lake, but there were a number of them that didn't make the final cut; camping there for ten days helped, since the visual drama happened nearly every morning and evening, ... and after the occasional down-pour. - Vinca, yes I do believe you've covered every one! :) I'm pleased that you enjoyed them all! :)
