Locust Grove Historical Site comprises 145 acres with over 3 miles of trail for hiking. It was once the home of the famous Samual F. Morse...known for the invention of the code with his name. Also owned by the : Livingston Family, Montgomery Family, and the Young Family |

The Masion
In 1851 Morse redesigned the main house, that had been built by the Montogomery Family in 1830. Morse added Roman arches inspired by a trip to Italy. He also added a octagonal Library wing a little more typical of the Hudson River Valley architecture. |

The Barn The Montogomery Family built the barn in1830's. Farming activities came to an end at Locust Grove around 1900. |
