Mare Island : Building 866

A few months ago a friend and I were able to get inside of Building 866, a former electronics/electrical workshop, at Mare Island that was in the process of being demolished. The following are a few of the many photos I shot that day.

 
On one of the upper levels.
 
Looking into an elevator shaft.
 
Not much light in the stairwells.

All of the cards in these slots had tool names on them.
 
Probably shouldn't have walked under this…
 
I don't remember seeing a fire exit to the right…
 
A pile of creosote blocks that had been torn up from the main workshop floor.
