Zion National Park June 13, 2007 kozak/zumberge 101 degrees Angels Landing Trail is a 5 mile hike that takes you onto a high peninsula above and near the center of magnificent Zion Canyon, one of the true gems of the National Park system. The peak is 1488 feet above the Virgin River, accessed by a "strenuous" route with long drop-offs. Chains polished by the grasp of many warm hands are available on points of exposure. Allow 4 hours. Bring lots of water. |
