Monument Valley and Slot Canyons, March 2005

Monument Valley, UT

 

I set up around 4am, to be ready for the sunrise, but it was gloomy gray and overcast. I almost didn't take this photo at all, but the colors coming through on film made it worthwhile!

The view from the Visitor's Center was amazing ...

... but there were natural and manmade views to photograph throughout the monument.
