Looks like a wonderful cool place to walk in the heat of summer. I love the last shot with the sun glaring in from the tops of the trees, ... just to remind you why you took refuge in the coolness of the forest in the first place! Very nice! :)

Woody, it looks like a fairy tale forest. I would have never thought of pink as a back drop. This is gorgeous!

thank you all for your comments! this trail was formerly a railroad connecting the two cities. APPLEGIRLLAYLA: this was taken close to the south haven side of the trail, and yes, i almost sensed an elven presence there =). ALIDAR: you are right, the shade provided by the trees was better than any air-conditioning on earth! JERII: occasionally we would meet cyclists along the way, but other than that it was just the forest and me. NOE, SHEILA & ANNA: its even more peaceful in person...a great place to de-stress WENDY, NANCY & BOB: i love that too, the sunlight playing on leaves is what caught my eye SIMON: i guess its the opposite weather down under! ANASTASIA: i try to do my part!!! =D PAM: it does have a magical aura about it...almost unearthly. as for pink, my background as i see it is showing as a tan/beige color! (not pink)...thank you again everybody! =)

Beautiful tabblo. There's a great sense of seclusion and privacy but with just a short walk to the light or an easy road to the crowds. If wanted.

There's was also a sense of déjà vu. This reminded me of one of Rajanigandha's tabblos.
