~ Before & After ~ the Storm

THE  FIRST  5  PICTURES  ARE  OUTSIDE  MY  OFFICE  AS  THE  STORM   IS  ROLLING  IN  ONE  EVENING  LAST  WEEK.    THEN  THE  3  PICTURES  THAT  FOLLOW  ARE  OUTSIDE  ON  MY  DRIVEWAY  AFTER  THE  STORM  HAS  BLOWN  OVER  AND  THE  SUN  IS  BEGINING  TO  SET !

 

THIS  HAS  BEEN  ONE  OF  THE  WETEST  SUMMERS  IN  DALLAS  HISTORY !!

 

I  LOVE  IT !!!     EVERYTHING IS GREEN STILL AND WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY OF OUR DREADED 100 DEGREE TEMPS THAT ARE USUALLY NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR HERE IN DALLAS, TEXAS.

We've been having storms like these for weeks and weeks now ... every day. I have never seen so much rain in Dallas. I love it. Makes me feel like we are in the fall time of the year instead of the summer. I love sleeping in this sort of weather too. LOL

Thanks Tammy. Ryan and I were standing out on the porch and driveway looking and he told me I should take some pictures of it. :) He has since used them on his my space page but he did some photo shop to it to make the colors more vibrant ... but I thought they stood well enough on their own. :)

Great pictures! The last 3, after the storm, are my favorites. The light in the clouds is so cool.

beautiful shots! i love how the clouds are glowing! if you like weather like this then you should take a trip up here to michigan! the flags backed by the cloud - awesome.

Jeri - they are my favs too. I love the definition the light gave the clouds.

Zippy - Sometimes they just seem to be perfect for pictures.

Layla - I haven't live in MI for years... but I'm sure most areas of the country get some tremendous clouds when the storms roll in. Maybe coasts get them worse ... but we are a ways from the coast and still see great cloud formations when we have storms.

Very nice tabblo. It has been relatively cool in New Hampshire too. And the clouds have been fantastic. It's nice to know the good weather is spread around.

Dave - I'm glad too that it has been spread around ... but I sure have enjoyed it personally. :)

Laura - We didn't have rain today. First day in weeks we have not had it. I actually miss it. :)

Annelies - I had just walked out of my office when I snapped those first pictures. We were all thinking ... TORNADO TOO ??? LOL
