3-Day Walk for the Cure

My friend Melissa and I are participating in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure 3-Day walk for breast cancer research.  We've been sacrificing our weekend mornings, getting up at the crack of dawn to spend several hours training in preparation for walking 60 (yes 60!) miles over 3 days.  You can see how lovely we look post-walk, left :)

The walk is in August and I'm about half-way to a very agressive fund-raising goal.  If you'd like to support the cause I would be very grateful!  You can donate online here

Wouldn't it be great to wipe this disease off the face of the earth?  To have our daughters live without fear?  You can help make it happen!

60 miles? That's like 5 or 6 big steps for you, right?

I suppose we *do* have a bit of an unfair advantage over normal-size folk :)

Hi Liesel, I made a donation in support of you. Best of luck! It will be challenging but I know you can do it. After all, you've hung in there with Tabblo from the beginning! The walk should be a piece of cake for you!

What a great cause. I think just about everyone has been affected (or knows someone who has) by breast cancer. What a great way to make a difference.
