Eduardo.affonso said at 8:45 p.m. on Jul 18, 2007: Me gustaría haber hecho una série de fotos con ese tema, pero saqué una única foto y me fuí. Cuando volví, la tienda ya estaba cerrada. Gracias por tu comentário.
Pkeener said at 8:49 p.m. on Jul 18, 2007: Yes! Love the title. YCMU. It's a great photo, Eduardo. So effective in B&W. I like the light especially on the steel support rods. I couldn't tell it was through the window until I realized the bricks were not a double exposure, but a reflection.
Love2laugh said at 8:49 p.m. on Jul 18, 2007: I would never have thought to take a picture like this. Too bad they were already closed when you went back ... I would have liked to see what else you did with your camera in there. :)
Katkee said at 9:15 p.m. on Jul 18, 2007: ~edu this is superb~so artistic and i love the contrast and tension between the lower bodies displayed on the left and the lone upper body on the right~i agree with pamela~you used the light so well~
Decoy said at 9:22 p.m. on Jul 18, 2007: I wonderful bw-photo!
Janer said at 9:29 p.m. on Jul 18, 2007: I also love your B&W treatment, so simple yet so elegant. And as the saying goes, "if it's from Edu, it must be good!" :)
Sheila said at 12:12 a.m. on Jul 19, 2007: excellent touch of b/w!
Eduardo.affonso said at 12:31 a.m. on Jul 19, 2007: PAM: I don't like about 150% of my titles. The light was really beautiful that day (late evening) and I thought the reflection wouldn't allow me to make a good photo. Now I see it added something to the composition.
SHEILA: I'll be back to this store soon, and finish the series. Hope the owners won't think I am some kind of pervert...
KATHRYN: It was this queue of bodies that attracted me first. But they didn't work by themselves, so I changed the composition to add the lonely body.
DECOY & SHEILA 2: Thanks! Black and white is like magic: it makes an otherwise plain photo looks much more interesting.
JANE: Thanks for the compliment - though I really don't deserve it... I'm flattered, anyway. Nice to hear from you again! I miss you, your photos, and your comments (ok, I must visit you on Multiply more often...)
Leftofcenter said at 6:58 a.m. on Jul 19, 2007: yes, someone wrote "elegant", love this b&w photo all the grey surrounding it, i'm starting to love mannequins too with and without heads ;) it's original & outside the box.
Bxrgirl27 said at 9:52 a.m. on Jul 19, 2007: I like the mix of textures and shapes. The rods look so rigid and cold but the mannequins are curvy and with the light reflection appear soft. Nice work, man!
Wlk68 said at 10:29 a.m. on Jul 19, 2007: I like the irony of the title. It's very appropriate. Nice use of B&W.
Xtine said at 10:57 a.m. on Jul 19, 2007: i love the effect of the reflection. nice photo!
