Beautiful and awesome photos! I am fascinated by the hummingbird you captured with his wings relaxed. I don't think I've ever seen a hummingbird that was not moving it's wings. Great stuff :)

Yep, these are definitely keepers! I especially love the top one, and the last one. Both are very beautiful! I think I should spend a little bit more time exploring past tabblos, obviously there are some gems hidden there that are well worth the time and effort that would be spent finding them! Great start Noreen! - can't wait to see the remaining 5!

Oops, now that I have at long last posted the rest of my top ten and re-ordered them I see that some of the comments no longer make sense. I am so sorry! Thank you Oscar, Nancy, Paula, Umauma, Anne, LatentE. Spilly, Marci, Andres, Shampoo, TeresaAnn, Dar, Anja, Doreen, Annalies, Dee, Laura, Wendy, Jude, Pam, Tammy, Ema, Joan, Destiny, Destiny, Jill, Mike, Woody, Monica, and Brian for all your kind comments.
I think I have been rather overwhelmed by tabblo just recently and have not been able to keep up with viewing and commenting as I did at one time. I hope this is a temporary situation because I do really love Tabblo and all the wonderful people I have met from all corners of the globe.
Choosing one's Top Ten is incredibly difficult as we have all discovered. It depends on so many things, not the least of which is one's mood! Today these are the photos I seem to go back to for another look again and again so that is what I have used as my criteria for my choices today.

Oh, that's incredible! I didn't notice the hummingbirds tongue when I first looked at this! That's amazing; I don't believe i've ever seen it before! I don't remember exactly which ones you had originally chosen as the five, but now you've got an excellent top ten collection! The Venice shot is really quite incredible, I'd imagine seeing something like it as a full spread in a travel magazine. ... The one of the Garry Oak meadow filled with camas has been a favourite of mine since I first saw it. Still love 'Winter beauty' and 'In Port' is a wonderful juxtaposition of life styles. 'Beachcombers paridise' and 'Stormy weather' are very beautiful; the later suiting me very well at the moment because I would like very much to be sitting there on one of those logs right now, watching the crashing waves and the sun fade.

Hi EMA and Dee, as you were commenting I was busy changing the order. The top photo now, "Mountains on Fire" is a favourite of mine taken out the back window of my son's car as we were driving eastwards to Calgary from Canmore in the Canadian Rockies.
