Indeed out of the world work. All the B/W have this unexplainable eerie existence around them. I guess, you successfully brought out the unworldly effect that you had wanted. I really liked the 4th one - that garden around the bridge, but if it were me, I would have presented it with out the lady in black. Same thing with the 6th one. In 5th picture, the white pigeon adds to the effect of peace around it but the lady does not. :-)

These are some great photos, and the post processing is out of this world LOL!! I guess that was the intention too. You are doing some real great work. Love them, and yes, EEIRIE !!!!

tabblo critique: excellent. were these digital shots? I wish I could see how you did this. I am fascinated but a bit frightened of what it would do to my photography if i learned to do what you do and do it so well! the first and third pics are my favorite. being a dabbler into the ethereal... i think these pics most accurately convey the true feeling of that "other world" or other plane of existance. the figure in each of these is there - unabashedly and without shame... but also nearly not there at all. they have become part of their environment and are seen in that context which gives the mind the idea of reality. does that make sense?
the other pics are all fun. i like each shot you have in this tabblo. the backgrounds you used are great great great! I'm not particularly fond of the image you used in 2 and 5. There's something about the lady that is just too... overposed? She looks like an actress. I like her in the last shot, though. I like her standing out like that, too. The only think I could see better there would be if you could do some kind of blending of the edges of the lady... instead of having her pop out, maybe she could kind of ghostly appear... brightest in the middle or perhaps on her hands and getting darker as you go out. Great working getting that three-d effect. I notiece you take the little details and make them work for you - like the elbow in that last shot being outside of the window. Impressive.
I can't stop looking at shot #4... at first it seemed the dimension was off... but actually is a little bit of a mind f***. The longer you look at the lady the more she appears to belong to that world... but she is clearly not quite of that world. She's almost a cartoon being pulled into the world by her familiar which is of this world (beautiful bird that also blends in the the background). There is so much in each of these photos that I could type so much more. Very very fabulous, my friend. Excellent attention to details and what a fantastic piece you have to show for it.

I love the dark contrast in these. The darkness envelops everything in mystery, but the details still visible in it, and the almost glowing contrasting light gives it that unworldliness. I love the effect of the sky in the top image - heavy and dark, but yet there's light, where's it coming from? - from within the trees and tombstones themselves, it seems. - Very creepy. My favourite is the bridge with the foggy mist and the birds, but for some reason the image of the woman doesn't seem to blend in well enough. ...Maybe she appears more 2-dimentional than the rest. Whatever the reason, it takes away from the magic of the image and makes me think of Morticia Addams.

Every one of the images are fantastic, but the women that you've added all seem a bit over the top somehow which ruins the illusion for me. And just so you know, I'm only nitpicking about these points because everything else seems to be so well rendered, and if not for this one minor detail, they'd be out of this world perfect! :)

After just reading Layla's critique I agree with her about how the womans image works in the last shot, but I'm not sure if I'd try to blend her in quite so much; I think it's the fact that she's not blending in that draws your eye to her - she really seems to glow, like a ghost!.
