Welcome to Holyland

Holy Land U.S.A. in Waterbury, Connecticut, was a very quirky but interesting religious tribute to the Holy Land, the vision of a local Waterbury lawyer named John Greco and built with the help of Waterbury Italian volunteers. Holy Land was a tourist destination for years, sometimes drawing 44,000 visitors per year.

When I arrived to 'Holyland,' I felt a chill run up my spine. It was like I discovered an ancient civilization. Despite it's good intentions, this place creeped me out big time.

Enjoy...

It is creepy. One would expect to find skeltons laying around. Great shots though.
