Downtown Shreveport has some lovely churches. Here are just a few of them. :)
I thought some of the churches almost looked like a castle. Reminded me a bit of Europe.

Love2laugh said at 11:16 a.m. on Aug 11, 2007: Thank you everyone. I also thought it was so cool how that old structure in the first picture was in the middle of a busy down town with the new structures surrounding it. I also wanted to go in the one Jude was talking about. I thought of all the churches it drew me in the most. I loved the way it looked like it should be in a small town in Europe. There were a few more churches I wanted to take pictures of but just couldn't manage my way through traffic to really get any decent angles of them. At least this gave a view of some of the variety of churches. :) (in Shreveport Downtown area) Glad you liked them ... and thank you for taking the time to look at them.
Floridamolle said at 7:01 p.m. on Aug 12, 2007: WOW!! Super pictures again, the first church is sooo beautiful. Is it really made out of ginger bread? And if, is it fire ant safe?
Love2laugh said at 9:34 p.m. on Aug 12, 2007: Anders... dear. I'm not sure anything is fire ant safe. If it was. .... I WOULD BUY IT FOR YOU. :)
Noe said at 10:39 a.m. on Aug 13, 2007: What a beautiful churches Sheila, very nice set! =)
Love2laugh said at 5:53 p.m. on Aug 13, 2007: Thanks Noe. I love to look at churches. I guess being a Missionary Kid it fascinates me ... but I have to say some of the churches in Europe can not begin to be compared to anything here in the USA. I love the history of those old churches in Europe ... but at least some of these were neat looking too. Just not as old... :)

Love2laugh said at 10:10 p.m. on Nov 2, 2007: Gracias, Alberto. Las Iglesias aqui in los Estados Unidos no son tan antiguos como los de Europa. la arquitectura en Europa tiene tanta historia con ella. Gracias por sus amables palabras.
