Thanks everyone ... Jude...I saw some more that I wanted to take pics of, but I was always sitting at a traffic light and the pic was on the wrong side of the car for me to quickly snap it..LOL I'm glad you liked my tour ... and me playing tour guide.. hahahaha... I have a few more pics I took of a cemetary and some really old delapadated buildings ... but I thought I'd put them on separate tabblos....!! So still a dab more to come from Shreveport ... but this gave you a good idea of the downtown area !! (and a park too) Glad you all enjoyed it.

Tammy and Teresa ... the food was delicious. :) I was nervous about a storm rolling in though and having to drive home in it ... so was having a hard time finishing my meal. I knew I needed to get on the road ... cause I had a long drive the next day early too for a family reunion. I'll admit the food was delicious though.

A great collection of pictures Sheila. I love the mix and the beautiful houses. And I am SOOOO happy that you found a bird. HMMmm have to go all the way to Louisiana to find a bird? There are no birds in Dallas ?

Anders - I had to find a bird so you and Tammy don't leave me in the DUST !!! :) We do have birds in Dallas... but none close to me... usually. :)

I was amazed too, Noe that the city had so much art. I don't think we have as many painted buildings ... here in Dallas. This still did not begin to capture all the one's I saw. So that is something maybe unique about the town. Glad you liked ME TOO..hahahaha...

looks like a great place to live. i esp liked the no swimming sign and the bird pix! (LOL!). my fave is the thai food pic. i LOVE thai food! =)

I loved the NO SWIMMING sign too that was UNDER water. LOL That cracked me up when I saw it.
