In The Neighborhood....

      It's hot, even though I like heat, it's too much to sit in the sun in my kayak for hours, so one thing that I like here is that it's never far to the nature. To day I just went about 3 miles and took of on this little stream almost in Milton downtown. After about 5-10 minutes of paddling you think that you are in the wilderness, although you are just........in the neighborhood.

That red thingy in the water is a flag, I picked it up an put it between my feet to get a picture of it :-)

I love your neighbourhood! I love the fifth shot! Even though it's apparently only about ten minutes from town, it still gives me the feeling of what I imagine a florida back-water scene would look like, and I just imagine paddling up past that bend to see more. Cool finding the flag; very nice reflections in that one too!

The title makes me think of that Sesame Street tune. 'who are the people in your neighbourhood, in your neighbourhood.... the people that you meet, when your walking down the street.

The first time I heard him sing Heart of Saturday Night, i think i was like, 20 years old..I was GONE!!This is the coolest video. it reminds me of a Fellini..Thanks Anders! i hadn't seen it!

I can only repeat what everybody say: What a neighborhood you have! And how beautiful you you capture it!!! I wouldn't mind go with you on a trip - so you better get a bigger boat? We are at least 3 now, with Pkkener? :) I guess # 1 and 5 are my faves, but I like the one with the flag too! :) About Tom, I've been listening a lot to his last one, but it's kind of "messy" if you compaire it with the great song/video you linked too. "In the Neighbourhood" - that could be a new Group theme. I think. Most enjoyable this tabblo. There is something about it that is relaxing and your description of "the red thing" and how you fished it out in order to take a photo of it is perfect. Happy kayaking!

Very beautiful nature scenes Anders. I love the bush with the yellow flowers reflected in the calm water. Also I liked the large bulbous tree in the water. Great variety in your shots with very interesting subjects.
