Thanks Billy. I'm glad you liked it Honey. Maybe when you come home we can go there for a weekend ... :)
Zippywinds said at 8:46 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: WOW you certainly made out to pasture look terrific, great eye for these captures , the ivy to the building is the rust to the cars, stunning :)
Ejmccartin said at 8:53 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: you do find the best stuff! great pics. they do stand on their own, very well. =)
Leftofcenter said at 8:59 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: there's somethin' creepy about that ivy attacking that building!! you really captured "abandonment", 2bad about those classic cars...
Patgf58 said at 9:04 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: Im w/ you lefto. that Yard is a car restoration buffs dream.
Patgf58 said at 9:05 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: and the Ivy's like something out of a 60's SciFi movie
Love2laugh said at 9:06 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: Zippy - I thought the same thing about the ivy to the building being the rust to the cars. It made the building look old and abandoned ... like the rust on the cars and the grass growing around the car showed abandonement too. Something cool about that to me.
Elizabeth - I love to look for something that others might not think to capture. This was one of those times I had to go out of my way to go get the pictures of the back of that building, because it was not where most would have noticed it. I had to drive down an alley ...hahahaha...
Annelies - I always heard my Dad speak of the old "STUDABAKER" cars so I was excited to see them.. even if they were old. I was also fascinated with the ivy growing OUT of the windows. So creepy...but interesting. I wondered what was really behind those windows in those buildings. Bet there were some stories there too...
Valbobbro0486 said at 9:07 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: very cool tabblo aunt sheila!!
Love2laugh said at 9:09 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: Pat - I know my Dad would have LOVED looking at those old cars. He would have told me stories from his college days seeing those. :) I also thought that ivy was just wild to look at. It seemed it reached out to other vines and just meshed. I loved it.
Love2laugh said at 9:09 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: Thanks Valerie. I had fun making it. :) I like different ... and I think this is one of those fun tabblos to do.

Love2laugh said at 10:49 p.m. on Aug 15, 2007: Oscar Sweetie. Thanks so much. I love the look of this old building and old cars. It really captured my attention. Strange that some things so run down could be so interesting ... but they are to me. :) Thanks for the kind words.
Floridamolle said at 12:05 a.m. on Aug 16, 2007: This is really a tabblo in my liking. Old houses and cars have such a personality, and together with the vegetation, just WONDERFUL!!, my "sis who dumped me from the drum to the fire ants"
Love2laugh said at 5:42 a.m. on Aug 16, 2007: Thanks Anders. I'm sure there were some fire ants among that vegetation, but I didn't get out looking for some of your family. :) I stayed in the car shooting the pictures. :) I too like the old for capturing pictures. I think it makes me imagine life back then and the stories that might go with what I'm looking at. Intrigues me.
Wlk68 said at 7:35 a.m. on Aug 16, 2007: Love this!! These just something really cool about warehouses and junky old cars. They make for such wonderful photographic fodder. I don't know about you but I would have been chomping at the bit to get behind that chain link fence to take pics of those cars.
Farmhousephotos said at 8:59 a.m. on Aug 16, 2007: Great shots! I used to restore old cars in my past life. I love the old Studabakers.

Love2laugh said at 5:42 p.m. on Aug 16, 2007: Wendy ... I wish I could have been on the other side of that fence... to take pics. You have no idea how bad I wanted to get close ups... and unusual angles. :)
Mark - I would love to see one of those restored. I think they are awesome looking cars.
Laura - I guess we TABBLO'ERS... like similar things.. :)
El Zorro - Thanks !! I had debated for some time on doing this tabblo ... and the theme ... but glad I did it now.

Teresa - I'm sure there are some great stories that could be re-counted.
