Garrapata is a CA state park, located 18 miles north of Big Sur. The park offers 2 miles of coastal hiking and a 50 foot climb to a beautiful view of the Pacific. Climb?! I did not know it was a climb until I started. BTW: Locals do this climb and run back down for excercise...?!

Well - dont know how far I made it up because I did not finish. BUT would like to believe that I was almost there. And once I reached that stopping point I sat down just below the clouds and enjoyed the view and thought  "Ok next time,  will go all the way."
